Bee Double or Triple Bee - September 2016For now it's four persons plus coxswain adventure rowing boat. Originally she was built by WinTech and at 9.6 m long and 1.6 m wide she's a big boat although weights only about 150 kg and requires 8 oars. She can be used on inland waterways and for coastal rowing passages.
At the moment I'm considering few options for her:

Bee Adventure Boat
Built in my North Sydney's back yard "Bee" is ready for the launch day..
My Little Bee Adventure Boat started her life as a two person rowing boat. A type of old long boat replica from the years gone by when the sailing ships crossed the seas. Originaly able to swiftly ferry the skiper to the shore and back.
I wanted a good looking, light, seaworthy two or single person rowing boat.
As the construction progressed John and I decided to create a fast, small sailboat. Easy to sail by one person. The only requrement was to be the fast speed of moving through the water, hence the canring keel arrangement with the lead bulb. There is a small freestanding mast supporting small jib and square top mainsail with wishbone boom, all up only 9.8 sq m sail area. Over all package is an easy to sail solo and very fast sailing mini yacht.
Length: 5.1 m
Beam: 1.1 m
Weight: Approximate 100 kg
Hull Construction Material: Solid Fiber Glass
Internal Structures: Fiber Glass and Foam Composite with some Carbon Honeycomb Composite.
Cockpit: Self-Draining
Configuration: Single or Double Rowing Station
Ample Flotation Chambers and Gear Lockers located forward and aft as well as below cockpit sole.
Oars Length: 2.1 m
Optional:
Mast Type: Free Standing Tube

Sail Area: 9.8 m2 (wishbone style jib and mainsail)
Dagger Board Style Keel Depth: 1.2 m
