Once is not enough

The Sydney Harbour Bridge is the first to be crossed along my walk.
Just go. Start your adventure with the first step. See where it will take you. Go beyond the horison.
Seven Bridges Walk 2009 - Sydney NSW Australia
The Story of My Walk
October 25, 2009 - Mission accomplished! 7 Bridges Walk, 27.7 km completed in 6 hours 50 min. My walk wasn’t easy and the biggest challenge came after I crossed the Gladesville Bridge (about halfway point) when the heavy rain made it wet, cold, slippery, and hard to see the way ahead, with raindrops on my glasses. I was so cold and drenched to the bones that for a moment considered the easy bus ride home. But I have made a promise to my self and told about my walk so many people, thus quitting was not an option. I picked up a “new wind” and got all the stamps in my “wet Walk Passport book”, with the front stamped “Completed”.
Comments from my supporters:
... Very good to hear, all completed. I don't know whether I could have done it. ...
... That is great news my friend. We are very happy for you and very proud. ...
... That's great news. Take it easy and rest up. ...
... Good on you mate. ...
... Outstanding, ... yep, ...Outstanding! ...
... John Rich, you beauty....WELL DONE mate a great achievement, and good way to mark the amazing personal / health milestone you have achieved. Even this short email below, gives me a feel for the strong sense of determination you connected with to drive you to the finish line!
... On to new goals and continuation of the 'turnaround' journey...
